In 2013, Scottdale, Georgia rapper Joe Green released the mixtape Mr. Pyrex 2: The Residue featuring Big Gee, Gangsta Boo, Trouble, Coalition DJs, and Black Bill Gates. With over 20,000 downloads on Livemixtapes and over 100,000 views on YouTube, Green was chosen to compete in "Battlegrounds" on the Durty Boyz Show on Hot 107.9. With his hit song "Circles," Green dominated his competition, and took home the title.
In 2014, under label Exit 40 Entertainment and management team 3MG Agency, Green has opened up for Hustle Gang, Rich Home Quan, Young Thug just to name a few.
