Jimmy Carlisle, aka Jimmy 2Tymes, music career started in Decatur, GA in 1994 when Jimmy (Popa Doc) and three friends created a group called Down By Loyalty (DBL). The group performed at various local clubs and talent shows as well as the Legion of Doom Record Pool at Club Masquerade in Atlanta, GA.
In the summer of 2006, Jimmy began working with Jagged Edge and signed to Jagged Edge's 581 Muzik Group label and at that point he changed his stage name to Jimmy 2Tymes. More recent Jimmy 2Tymes released a track titled "Stone's" Ft. 2 Chainz, Jimmy 2 Tymes & Yung Joc released on DJ Bobby Black's and DJ Tephlon New Mixtape, Designer Drugs 5 featured on 2DopeBoyz.
