Idiong dropped his latest single titled Paradise which he says was influenced by the King of Pop’s big hit Beat It. “The song is about someone who is madly in love but others are try to tell you that the person you’re in love with is not good for you,” the pop singer explained. “In my lyrics, I say I came here to love you. I came here to fight for you and take you to paradise. Love is in the eye of the beholder. Love who you want to love.” To set the stage for the single, Idiong filmed the video to the track on Paradise Island, Hawaii. It was the singer’s first time on the island—but hopes it won’t be his last. “It was such a wonderful experience because it really looked like heaven, and I had so much fun,” stated Idiong. “I spent a couple of days there shooting the video.” The single will be featured off of his upcoming EP called My American Dream which is scheduled for release this summer. “It’s always been my dream to live in the United States, so it seemed like an appropriate title for an EP,” stated Idiong. “I remember when I was 10-years-old always saying to myself that someday I was going to live in America. I finally came here about two years ago by myself.”
